Liam began his Formula 2 rookie season by winning the opening race. Following a year of racing in Formula 3 with Hitech GP in 2020, Liam graduated to their F2 team. For 2022 he switched to Carlin and started with double podiums in Bahrain.
Regarded as the feeder category to Formula 1, 2022 marks the sixth year of the F2 championship and features 22 drivers.
