F2 BUDAPEST - 2022
After a disappointing qualifying session which left Liam P11, a frantic Sprint race saw him climb to 6th at the finish.
However the Feature race was always going to be a difficult one by starting outside the top ten. Carlin opted to start Liam on the medium Pirelli tyres before switching to the soft compound for a shorter stint at the end, hoping for a downpour later in the race and avoiding having to make a second stop for wets. He then was left to nurse his tyres to the end after the rain never arrived and bagged a disappointing 7th.
