Liam Lawson Experiences the Thrills of Mount Panorama.

Last weekend, young and talented New Zealand driver Liam Lawson got a taste of the iconic Mount Panorama circuit at full speed during the Bathurst Liqui-Moly 12 Hour event. Piloting the dominant Oracle Red Bull Racing RB7 Formula One car, Liam impressed with his turn of speed and display lap.

Liam, who is a Red Bull Junior driver, has already demonstrated his skills behind the wheel of a Formula One car at the 2021 Goodwood Festival of Speed. This experience was a dream come true moment for Liam, who has been a fan of both Formula One and the Bathurst 1000 Supercars race since he was a kid.

In his own words, Liam described Mount Panorama as one of the most famous places in the world and a track he has always wanted to drive. Despite his impressive speed, Liam faced a unique challenge at Mount Panorama: the elevation. As he mentioned, “We sit low in an F1 car, so when you’re going over these big crests, dropping down, that is really different.”
